The 74th Republic Day observed at West Bengal State University in a befitting manner. Started with Unfurling of National Flag by Professor Mahua Das Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor West Bengal State University followed by a Guard of Honour by Programme Coordinator NSS, WBSU and Security staff. Necessary educational materials and kits were distributed amongst the local school children. Today is also a auspicious day of Saraswari Puja and Vasant Panchami, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and others offered Pushpanjali to Devi Saraswati and the program ended with National Anthem. The presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, University Engineer, Programme Coordinator-NSS, teachers, students, employees, security personnel, local children and research scholars made the program a grand success.
