Assurance Cell<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n1.\u00a0To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the University;<br \/>\n2.\u00a0To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Development and application of quality benchmarks\/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the University;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive for quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Arrangement for feedback responses from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Organization of inter and intra University workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Documentation of the various programmes\/activities of the University, leading to quality improvement;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Acting as a\u00a0 nodal\u00a0 agency\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 University\u00a0 for\u00a0 coordinating\u00a0 quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of good practices;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Development and maintenance of Institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining \/enhancing the institutional quality;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Development of Quality Culture in University;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the University based on\u00a0 the\u00a0 quality\u00a0 parameters\/assessment\u00a0\u00a0 criteria\u00a0 developed\u00a0 by\u00a0 the relevant quality assurance and accreditation bodies (like NAAC, NBA, AB) in the prescribed format;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Bi-annual development of Quality Radars (QRs) and Ranking of Integral Units of HEIs based on the AQAR;<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">Interaction withState Quality Assurance cells(SQACs) in the pre and post accreditation quality assessment, sustenance and enhancement endeavors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for<\/strong><br \/>\na) Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks;<br \/>\nb) The relevance and quality of academic and research programmers;<br \/>\nc) Equitable access to and afford ability of academic programmers for various sections of society;<br \/>\nd) Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning;<br \/>\ne) The credibility of evaluation procedures;<br \/>\nf) Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services;<br \/>\ng) Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Follow up <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">The AQAR shall be approved by the statutory bodies of the University (such as Syndicate, Governing Council\/Board)\u00a0\u00a0 for\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 follow\u00a0\u00a0 up\u00a0\u00a0 action\u00a0\u00a0 for necessary quality enhancement measures.<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">The Universities shall regularly submit the AQARs to the NAAC\/other accreditation bodies.<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">All Universities shall submit AQARs and\/or QRs and follow up reports of AQARs to the UGC.<\/li>\n<li class=\"plan_list\">The IQAC must create its exclusive window on University website, to regularly report on its activities, as well as for hosting the AQAR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\na) Ensure heightened level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement<br \/>\nb) Ensure internalization of the quality culture;<br \/>\nc) Ensure enhancement and integration among the various activities of the institution and institutionalize good practices;<br \/>\nd) Provide a sound basis for decision-making to improve institutional functioning;<br \/>\ne) Act as a dynamic system for quality changes in
