In ancient India, the Sages said to the whole World ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- the World is One Family’ i.e. the people and nature of the whole World are our relatives. Many Universities like Taxila, Nalanda as the seat of learning have given real knowledge about life and the World to students from different parts of the World. West Bengal State University started its journey from the year 2008 mainly with the philosophy of ‘Lakshyang Vishwamanam’ i.e. our aim is to reach the World’s standard of knowledge. Today, after 16 years, it’s our satisfaction that our students have reached the pinnacle in knowledge practice, research, and entering their career. In the modern consumerist lifestyle, we want to impart the education that can give the students a complete sense of life.
