It was a great day out for the students and teachers of the department of Library and Information Science of West Bengal State University. Thanks to Dr. PARTHASARATHI DAS of the National Library for welcoming the students and teachers and giving them a guided tour at the Libray and also arranged lunch for them. Thank you Dr. Das for your encouraging words and wonderful hospitality. It was also an enlightening experience for the students while vising the British Council Library. Thanks to Praveena Ireland of Btitish Council who gave a wonderful talk to the students and encouraged them not to think only for the Librarian’s job but think big. Thank you Praveena our students really got encouraged by your talk.
