Since its inception the department of Bengali is highly acclaimed as a distinguished department of teaching and research. The department is currently run by two full-time teachers and Guest teachers. Total student intake capacity at P.G. level is 72. Already five bathes of Post-graduate students has been passed out. At present sixth and seventh batches are running.
