Department of Statistics

Since the inception of the West Bengal State University, the Department of Statistics is striving to accomplish a high standard both in theory and applications of Statistics. The Department offers two years post graduate degree (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. in Statistics. The department also conducts various short courses and seminars/workshops on a regular basis. The Department extends consultancy services to Biological and Social Science departments of this university.
