Abhijit is currently pursuing his PhD at the Department of English, WBSU. and Kasir has completed his Masters from the Department in 2022.
It is a moment of great pride for the entire department as they competed with many applicants from 17 countries all over the world. It is important to note that the acceptance rate was less than 1% this year. There is a possibility that the awardees will be able to mentor next yearโs applicants too.
The Department of English, WBSU, is especially grateful to the Visiting Fulbright Nehru Fellow, Dr. Abhijeet Paul ( UC, Berkeley). who has been instrumental in guiding and supporting Abhijt and Kasir. We thank him wholeheartedly for his consistent and generousย support.
